Last Minute Sign-Up

Literally in the last minute, Sienna came to me with her Camp Grace registration. Parental Consent, a quick "yes, bring her" text back from the camp director and off we went with thirteen youth to Camp Grace! When we picked up Sienna that morning all she had was a small backpack for the entire week. The camp helped provide what she needed and gave her a week she will never forget. Sienna, like most of the others, experienced a week of many firsts: staying away from home, swimming in a lake, riding a water slide, rock climbing, canoeing, and even fishing. In her first fishing experience she caught the biggest fish of the week and kissed it! Not only did she have a great time at Camp Grace she also made a decision to commit her life to Jesus Christ!

Eight other youth that came with us to Camp Grace that week also made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. And, all have expressed a desire to have someone mentor/disciple them in their walk with the Lord. Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. - Psalm 72:18
